What Hiperwall does, and for whom
Hiperwall publishes distributed image wall software. Computers, called nodes, each drive one or more screens, and a control workstation spreads the content across the whole wall through the network.
The software is aimed at control rooms, security centres, businesses and educational institutions. It is generally licensed per node or per screen, which allows a wall to grow in stages.
Where the budget goes over ten years
In a model licensed per node or per screen, the cost follows the size of the wall: each screen added calls for a licence, and often one more computer. Over ten years, you also have to count update contracts, the network linking the nodes and the renewal of these machines.
With us, the software is bought once: a perpetual licence, paid only once (Control, €1,911 excl. VAT, see the prices), with no annual fee.
The rest is standard hardware, new or refurbished, which you replace piece by piece, from the supplier of your choice.
What we do differently
Easy Multi Display is a software publisher, not a hardware manufacturer. Our Drag & Drop software runs on a standard PC, under Windows or Linux, and drives from 1 to 40 screens on direct output, more with image wall controllers. Each wall is divided into 24 zones at most, saved as scenarios.
The sources are those of a command room: HDMI capture of business workstations, RDP remote desktop, VNC session, network streams, cameras, websites. Everything works with the network and the Internet cut. CollectivView even displays up to 40 HDMI sources with no network at all between the screens.
Keeping your Hiperwall, or complementing it
A distributed architecture makes sense when the wall is very large or spread over several rooms. For a command wall of usual size, a single PC is often enough: it drives the screens directly, with no network between them. The two approaches can coexist during a transition.
The hardware that goes with a distributed wall, PCs and screens, can be reused perfectly with Easy Multi Display, with no loss of quality. An existing PC can become the control workstation of the wall, and the screens stay in place. For an opinion on your configuration, contact us.

Yes, Easy Multi Display runs on a standard PC under Windows or Linux and drives any screen with a standard video input. Several fire and rescue services (SDIS) have renovated their room without changing a single screen.
