Driving 9 Screens in a Mobile Command Post

How do you prove the power of a video wall without a fixed command room? By pushing it to the limit in a mobile command post (MCP). In this demonstration led by Camille and Guy aboard a fire truck, Easy Multi Display drives 9 screens in 4K from a single PC.

A 100-euro 3x3 controller for 9 screens

The heart of the demonstration lies in a very simple box: a 3x3 video controller priced at 100 euros, capable of distributing the signal across 9 screens. Paired with a PC fitted with an RTX 4070 Founder Edition graphics card, it effortlessly handles 4K images across the entire wall. This approach is at the core of our turnkey ranges: affordable hardware, quick installation, zero subscription.

A full-scale test inside a fire truck

To validate performance, the team runs Minecraft with the Distant Horizons mod and its shaders (demanding graphics effects) spread across the 9 screens. If the system can take on a fluid-hungry 4K game, it will display maps, cameras and mission-critical software of a command room during an operation without flinching. This is exactly the kind of robustness operators expect in the field, as shown by our firefighters and emergency services solution.

This proof of concept (POC) illustrates our philosophy: to give emergency services a powerful, sovereign and affordable video wall technology, even in the most demanding mobile conditions.
